go here for a beautiful tribute to Pfc Lori Ann Piestewa, the first American woman killed in combat for the United States Military. Pfc. Piestewa was an American Indian of the Hopi Nation, and room mate and best friend of Pfc Jessica Lynch, the rescued soldier.
Incidentally, at 9:00 tonight (Friday) A&E is telecasting a special documentary about the rescue of Pfc Lynch. Bill Curtis will be the host.
